The Wellfish strategy retreat

The Wellfish team is recently back from a strategy retreat in the archipelago. To mark the occasion, we were treated to brilliant sunshine and clear blue skies!

Important questions needed to be discussed. Like many other companies, we are not unaffected by #omnibus and the dismantling of sustainability efforts that is permeating the #EU. For several reasons, this is regrettable. Not only because of the need to steer national policy in the right direction, but also because companies need a clear compass for their sustainability work.

We have already implemented #VSME, which has risen up the agenda, but we still needed to put our heads together and consider:

💡 How do we create value for our customers in politically and economically turbulent times?

There are several arguments for why companies should still report on sustainability:

👉 Stay ahead of the curve and be prepared for what is decided within the EU
👉 Requirements from procurements, owners, suppliers and customers
👉 Purely commercial benefits, such as the value of risk analysis

This therefore does not mean that companies should end or pause their reporting. And if the reporting feels tedious, we at Wellfish are here, both to support you in your sustainability work and with a sustainability system for easier reporting.
