What is CSRD? 🌱
The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is an EU directive that updates and expands the previous sustainability reporting rules under the NFRD (Non-Financial Reporting Directive). Companies covered by CSRD need to report in line with the new sustainability standards, the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
What does CSRD involve? ☘️
These include requirements to report sustainability information across the entire value chain relating to the environment, social matters and governance. Relevant sustainability information is determined through a so-called double materiality analysis, where you assess the company's impact as well as risks and opportunities across different areas.
